Children Song

I am writing about the songs from my childhood, actually… a couple of decades ago… But I think these songs are considered the classics. Kind of what “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” or “Itsy Bitsy Spider” is in the Western culture.

Ibu Sud and Pak Kasur are the two famous song writer at that time. And since it’s a classics, we can still find their songs.

Here’s a list of some popular songs (hmm… ‘though I don’t know few of them), found on that CD. I’ll try to avoid breaking any copyrights law here…. all the lyrics here are copyright of their composers… if I managed later to put the full songs in digital format for you to enjoy (when you’re feeling nostalgic), they will be in a very low quality.

My wife happens to know a few more interesting songs, not as popular as this, but also very good. I’ll see if I can get her to write and if I can still find the songs in CD format somewhere in Indonesia…
